** As of March 13, 2020 the High School State Career Development Conference is canceled due to the health impacts of large group gatherings.**

Why attend CDC? There are a million reasons, but here are the two biggest! You’ll be able to make 500+ new friends and compete to represent ND DECA at the International Career Development Conference in Nashville! 

The only way to get to ICDC is through Bismarck, ND at the biggest (and most exciting) event of the year – State Career Development Conference. Make sure you qualify at your Chapter level, register and practice your competition skills, and get the details in order to be in Bismarck March 15-17, 2020.

CONFERENCE DRESS CODE

Professional Dress (General Session, Testing, Awards Session & Competition)

FEMALES: Dress skirt, dress slacks, business suit and a dress blouse (DECA blazer optional) and dress shoes. Skirt or dress should be knee length.

MALES: Dress slacks, collared dress shirt and necktie, dress shoes and dress socks (Business Suit or DECA blazer optional).

DECA Business Casual (Business Meeting, Special Entertainment and Exhibit Area)

Casual slacks (e.g. Dockers) with DECA T-shirt, blouse, polo or dress shirt; socks and casual shoes. Jeans, non-DECA t-shirts, and athletic shoes are not included in DECA business casual.

Unacceptable Attire During DECA Activities

Skin-tight or revealing clothing; midriff-baring clothing; swimwear; leggings or graphic designed hosiery/tights; athletic clothing; caps or headgear; clothing with printing that is suggestive, obscene or promotes illegal substances. Jeans are not acceptable attire during DECA Conference activities.
